Lyric videos that move like the song.

Type your lyrics one line at a time and Kinetype animates them, letters dropping and bouncing into place. Use it to tease a release, share a chorus, or post a lyric snippet.

  1. Type

Write one lyric line per row. Keep each to a few words so every screen lands with the beat.

  2. Tune

Bounce and Pop feel musical. Pace slows the words for a ballad or speeds them up for a drop.

  3. Post

Download the MP4, then add your track in Instagram, TikTok or your editor. Turn the sound effects off if you only want your music.

Make it feel like your track

Match the pace to the tempo

Use the Pace slider until the words roughly ride the rhythm. Slower for a ballad, faster for a hook.

Star the hook

Wrap the line people sing back in stars so it lights up in the accent color.

Use your own song

Kinetype does not add music. Pair the video with your own track or a licensed sound from the app you post in.

Square for the feed

Switch to 1:1 or 4:5 for an Instagram feed post, or keep 9:16 for Reels and TikTok.

Questions

Can I add music?
Not inside Kinetype yet. Export with the sound effects off, then add your song in the app you post from or in any video editor.
Can I make lyric videos of famous songs?
Lyrics are copyrighted. Posting them is generally fine for your own songs, or where the platform has licensed the track. Kinetype does not check this for you.
Which styles work best for lyrics?
Bounce for playful songs, Pop for punchy hooks, Stack for slower, emotional lines.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no account, no export limit and no paywall on any style.
Is there a watermark?
Only a small optional credit line, "made with kinetype.video", at the bottom of the frame. Switch it off under Style, then Options.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The preview, the sound and the final MP4 are all made in your browser. Nothing leaves your device.
