Animated quote videos in seconds.

Paste a quote, break it into short lines, and Kinetype animates it word by word. It is the quickest way to make the daily quote posts that motivation, book and mindset pages run on.

  1. Paste

Put each phrase on its own line. Short lines read better on a phone: three to five words is the sweet spot.

  2. Mark

Wrap the words that carry the meaning in stars, like *now*, to color them in the accent.

  3. Export

Download a 1080×1920 MP4 with sound and post it straight to Reels, Shorts or TikTok.

Quote videos people finish

Break where you would breathe

Split lines where you would pause reading aloud. The beat between screens does the dramatic work for you.

Highlight one idea per screen

One starred phrase per line keeps the eye on the point. Star everything and nothing stands out.

Pick a calm motion

Stack and Type suit quotes. Save Slam for hooks; wisdom lands better when it is not shouting.

Credit the author

Add the author's name as the last line. It builds trust and keeps the post honest.

Questions

Can I use any quote?
Short, credited quotes are widely shared, but long passages, song lyrics and recent copyrighted writing can need permission. Public domain quotes and your own words are always safe.
What is the best format for quote videos?
9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 4:5 for the Instagram feed, and 1:1 for X or LinkedIn.
How long will my quote video be?
Timing is automatic: longer words stay on screen longer and punctuation adds a pause. A two-sentence quote runs about 7 to 12 seconds. Lower the Pace for a slower read.
Can I change the font and colors?
Yes. There are six typefaces, including a serif made for quotes, eight color sets and fully custom colors.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no account, no export limit and no paywall on any style.
Is there a watermark?
Only a small optional credit line, "made with kinetype.video", at the bottom of the frame. Switch it off under Style, then Options.
